OWCF builds partnerships with existing grassroots groups that are run by the knowledge, wisdom, creativity and ingenuity of local people around the world.
Our partners are addressing the fundamental rights of children and their caregivers by providing them access to basic education, health care and nutrition; affording vocational training to youth and women; and by advocating and caring for those that are affected by the AIDS crisis.
People First Educational Charitable Trust in Bihar, India, provides basic education to nearly 1000 children each year. Their Gaya Rescue Project educates and rehabilitates children living on the railway platforms. This Program has also been successful in uniting some lost children with their families.
