Champions are people or emerging charitable initiatives in the United States who wish to support an existing grassroots group in the world that is addressing the basic and critical needs of the children and their caregivers.
One World created the Champion Program to help these individuals serve vulnerable children by assisting individuals who wishes to advocate, support, and fundraise for an existing grassroots organization, anywhere in the world. By joining One World’s community of champions they can learn skills and receive the support that frees them from hundreds of hours of administrative detail. Each champion can then support the One World partner organization whole heartedly, raising the funds so needed to help it prosper and grow.
Our champion program provides:

- Training on fundraising, metrics, cultural sensitivity, and more
- One on one support
- Donor stewardship and communication
- Fiscal administrative support
- Awareness building and promotion
- Fundraising opportunities
- Best practice and resource sharing
- Name recognition and public accountability
- Consistent monitoring and evaluation of projects
- Goal setting and team building
The Champion program is open to anyone located in the United States who has first hand experience of a project affecting children, and who wants to provide support but does not want to start their own 501c3 or non-profit organization
An enduring core value of One World is to build respectful partnerships with grassroot organiations that are run by the knowledge, wisdom, creativity and ingenuity of local people around the world. Such organizations need to have strong local leadership and direct involvement with those that are affected by social injustices. They must also have the trust of the local community and capable governing and management systems.
People who have traveled or lived in the developing world often find such local groups that are creating solutions to advance the dignity, health and well being of children. As a result, they can become One World Champions, supporters of these groups.
