About the Work
Project Placement and Practical Training
The One World Fellowship Program provides hands-on project management opportunities in international development, communications, and technology. Projects are assigned and developed based on the interest and skills of the Fellow as well as the needs of the organization, and must be completed by the end of the 3 month Fellowship. As well as guidance on their individual projects, Fellows attend weekly seminars in nonprofit operations with guest speakers. Additionally, Fellows are expected to be active participants in a One World committee during their Fellowship. Upon completion of the Fellowship, Fellows are invited to join a One World committee to stay involved with the organization.
Seminars
Seminars will cover a range of topics related to nonprofit operations, including: international development, project management, board development, organizational structure & planning, strategic planning, grant writing, media/communications, resources for the nonprofit job seeker, and software such as Sales Force and Constant Contact.
