Jagriti Vihara (JV) established in 1975, is focused on reconstructing rural areas by motivating local villagers to play an active role in changing the social order.They believe in sustainable development and see their work as strengthening society.
They have come together with One World to raise funds for a health clinic in India that will serve a marginalized population that does not have easy access to quality primary healthcare and diagnostic services. This project is called Hospital for Hope.
Champions: Amit Garg, Arthi Chakravarti, Neil Kothari, Golda Philip & Melanie Kannokada, who all met as students at Stanford University and volunteered at JV during their trips to India.
