Orphaned Burmese Children’s Home is a project supported by Pā-O National Development Organization (PNDO). PNDO has been serving the Pā-O and other ethnic communities (Shan, Inda, Lahu) since 2002 and are committed to ensuring the essential health, education, and social needs of target populations and to improving their standard of living. At the same time, PNDO is working to preserve the traditional and cultural traditions of the Pā-O and other ethnic peoples.
Currently PNDO is serving a total of 12,351 orphaned and displaced children, 8,406 in Burma and 3,945 in Thailand. PNDO supports twenty-nine schools in Thailand as well as seventy-seven schools in Burma.
